I backed up my phone with free Samsung Smart Switch on my PC first and took a chance as I never did this before. There may be other sites and use at your own risk. Now you need to find an older version of a program called Contacts+, I forget the version I have but you can download this via I think I used APKMirror or APK4FUN and search for the Contacts+ app and prior version.
